收藏着录： 石渠宝岌三编（延春阁），第六册，页2687 收藏着录： 故宫书画录（卷六），第四册，页285 收藏着录： 故宫书画图录，第三十册，页326-331 内容简介（中文）： 王时敏（西元一五九二－一六八０年），江苏太仓人。字逊之，号烟客，自称西庐老人、西田主人、归村老农等。崇祯初，以荫官奉常，资性颖异，淹雅博物，工诗文，善书．尤长八分，而于画有特慧。家本富于收藏，及遇名蹟，不惜多金购之。于画大癡墨妙，早岁即穷阃奥，晚年益臻神化。此图为「国朝五家画山水」册中之第三开，画溪山、流水、杂树、房舍，岸畔坡陀，若无人迹。用笔随意点染，水墨淋漓，气韵酣畅，笔墨与景境颇得黄公望神韵。 内容简介（英文）： Wang Shih-min (style name Sun-chih; sobriquet Yen-k’e; and called himself Hsi-lu lao-jen, Hsi-t’ien chu-jen, and Kuei-ts’un lao-nung) was a native of T’ai-ch’ang, Kiangsu. Early in the reign of the Ch’ung-chen emperor (r. 1628-1644), Wang Shih-min was awarded a post in the Court of Imperial Sacrifices. He was extraordinarily gifted and profound, refined, and erudite. He was skilled at poetry and literature, and he excelled at calligraphy, especially clerical script. His forte, however, was painting. Wang Shih-min possessed a large collection of famous art works and spared no amount of money to purchase them. His rendering of Huang Kung-wang’s (1269-1354) style was marvelous. In his early years, Wang exhaustively studied the essence of Huang’s style, so that in his later years Wang’s style was spiritually transformed.Depicted in this painting are mountain streams, flowing water, assorted trees, dwellings, fields, hills, but no sign of human presence. Wang Shih-min applied his brush freely in this work to color and dot. The monochrome ink appears to be dripping wet and spiritually exhilarated. The brushwork and scenery both attain the spirit consonance of Huang Kung-wang’s style.
